Designed with a deep understanding of its setting, this custom home takes full advantage of its beachside location through thoughtful orientation and clever spatial planning.
Clean lines, raked ceilings, and highlight windows draw natural light deep into the main living areas while framing sky and treetop outlooks. The angled roofline isn’t just a design feature — it was carefully shaped to optimise solar access and create a sense of spaciousness.
Positioned to capture glimpses of our beautiful Channel and Bruny Island areas and connect indoor living with the surrounding landscape, the home reflects a simple but elevated design approach — modern, efficient, and made for real life.

“From the start, our conversations focused on finding the ideal balance between block size and home size. While we initially liked aspects of a suggested design, we made so many changes through the process that it naturally evolved into a fully custom designed home — and fortunately, this flexibility didn’t add unexpected costs to the build.
The 3D walk-through software used during the design stage was a huge help in visualising the final outcome. It gave us confidence in the decisions we were making and brought the home to life well before construction began.”

This custom home delivers timeless curb appeal with its balanced rooflines, warm brickwork, and carefully composed façade — blending classic elements with modern detail.
Inside, the layout was tailored for family functionality and entertaining flow, featuring generous internal spaces, smart zoning, and direct connection to outdoor living. With a focus on the Kitchen being the heart of the home, the judges were impressed with the butlers pantry and attention to detail on the liveability and flow of the home and the high level detailing we had included on our plans.
A large triple garage and layered landscaping complete the design, ensuring the home feels anchored and practical on its generous suburban block.
